Can I fit Xenon HID Headlights to my car?
We strongly recommend that you do not try to fit HID headlights yourself. These headlights require electronic control gear that can interfere with other electrical systems on your car, for example the airbag. They also produce extremely high voltages that could be potentially lethal.
There are car manufacturers that offer a service to retrofit high intensity discharge headlights to some models of car (BMW, VW). Other manufacturers have not yet decided whether to offer a similar service.
Can I upgrade the headlights on my car?
Upgrades are available for most halogen headlights, the most common form of lighting on modern cars.

Are headlight upgrades legal?
There are headlight upgrades available which do not satisfy the legal requirements for road use in the UK and Europe . Ensure that the upgrades you purchase satisfy your needs.
All headlights supplied by Startledrabbit.com are approved for road use throughout the UK and Europe (ECE R37 approved).
Can upgrade bulbs be fitted in plastic headlights?
Yes. All headlight upgrades supplied by Startledrabbit.com are ‘UV stop' and suitable for fitting in cars with plastic headlight lenses.
Note: Many of our competitors' bulbs do not have ‘UV stop' characteristics and will degrade plastic lenses, greatly reducing the amount of light on the road.
Is there a Super H7 bulb?
No. The H7 bulb was designed and developed using Super technology. The only upgrade suitable for H7 lamps is SILVERSTAR® or COOL BLUE®

What does DIADEM® mean?

Why does the OSRAM DIADEM® flash amber even though it looks blue?
By applying several interference layers to the bulb the light emitted by the filament is refracted and only the amber component in the light passes through the coating.
The result is a brighter amber lamp, without the amber coating.
